Cranleigh FC joined clubs across the country last weekend in observing a Moment of Silence as part of The FA’s Football Remembers initiative for 2025.

The campaign, marked with the hashtag #GrassrootsRemembers25, encouraged all grassroots teams to pause before kick-off on the weekend of November 8th and 9th to honour those who served and the fallen.

The Football Remembers project — run in partnership between The FA, the Premier League, the English Football League (EFL), and the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) — aimed to unite the football community in remembrance during the national period of reflection around Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday.

Coaches, supporters, players, and staff all took part in this shared act of respect before matches across the weekend, as everyone came together to remember those who gave their lives in service.
