Cranleigh FC will join clubs across the country this weekend in observing a Moment of Silence as part of The FA’s Football Remembers initiative for 2025.
The campaign, marked with the hashtag #GrassrootsRemembers25, encourages all grassroots teams to pause before kick-off on the weekend of November 8th and 9th to honour those who served and the fallen.
The Football Remembers project—run in partnership between The FA, the Premier League, the English Football League (EFL), and the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA)—aims to unite the football community in remembrance during the national period of reflection around Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday.
Coaches, supporters, players, and staff are encouraged to take part in this shared act of respect before all matches this weekend as we remember those who gave their lives in service.
