Our first season in the H&DYFL sees us finally competing in the correct Under-15s age group, after last year’s campaign playing up a year in the SSYFL, where we topped Division 2.
We’ve made a flying start, with two wins from two home games: a 9–1 victory over Hurst Colts and a 3–1 success against Lindfield Juniors. The Cobras sit proudly at the top of Division C after two rounds.
There was some disappointment last weekend as we bowed out of the League Cup in a narrow 4–5 defeat to Steyning Town. No shame, though—our visitors were a well-organised and skilful Division A side.
Next up is a short trip to Broadbridge Heath on Saturday 27/9 for our third league match.
