Cranleigh FC is proud to be taking part in this year’s Play Safe Weekend on 27–28 September; a nationwide campaign that highlights the importance of safeguarding in football.

Play Safe is a year-round initiative led by The FA and supported across the game. This year, the focus is on encouraging adults to create open conversations, ask questions, and most importantly, actively listen to children.

The message is clear: Everyone. Everywhere. Every time.

At Cranleigh FC, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. The Play Safe Weekend is a chance to reinforce our commitment to ensuring every child feels respected, valued, and safe, both on and off the pitch. By using our voices, we give children theirs — making sure they know they will always be listened to.

You can find out more about how to keep the game safe here: Play Safe.

Remember, small talk is bigger than you think. Together, we can make football safe, fun, and enjoyable for everyone.

We look forward to seeing our players, parents, and supporters across the Play Safe Weekend.
