Cranleigh Veterans are calling on the local football community to support Liphook FC, after tragedy struck one of their players’ families.

Kate and Andrew Oxton, along with their children Mia, James, and Holly, were devastated by a freak fire accident on 24 August. Both Kate and Andrew suffered severe, life-changing injuries and now face long, painful roads to recovery.

The Oxtons’ son James bravely saved his father’s life during the incident, while the family continues to cope with the emotional and financial strain of the tragedy.

The football community is coming together to help raise funds to support the Oxtons with medical expenses, rehabilitation, and living costs while they rebuild their lives.

Cranleigh FC is proud to stand alongside our friends at Liphook FC in supporting this appeal.
