Cranleigh Football Club is proud to stand alongside our friends at Cranleigh Cricket Club as they look secure funding to create a brand-new, inclusive community clubhouse on Cranleigh Common.

The project aims to deliver a modern, welcoming hub for sport, wellbeing, and community life. More than just a cricket pavilion, the new facility will open its doors to a wide range of groups and activities – from exercise classes and youth club sessions, to community meetings, family gatherings, and post-funeral events.

To deliver, the Cricket Club is looking to gain support for funding from Your Fund Surrey, and we are encouraging the community to respond to the online form here: Your Fund Surrey.

At its heart, the clubhouse is designed to be a safe and inclusive destination, where the whole community can feel welcome, take part in sport, and enjoy social connections.

Planned improvements include:

  • A fully accessible building for people of all abilities.

  • Expanded hospitality areas to host community projects, classes, and events.

  • Modern kitchen and welfare facilities for all users.

  • Dedicated and compliant changing rooms for girls and women, meeting ECB standards.

  • Separate umpire changing and shower facilities.

  • Improved aesthetics that enhance the Common and the High Street approach.

Cranleigh FC recognises the power of community sport to bring people together and create lasting legacies. We’re proud to support this project, which will benefit not just cricket lovers, but the whole village – from young families to older residents.
