The first match of a double header played at Bookham

Cranleigh were straight at Bookham from the kick off. We soon forced a corner taken by Charlie Gibson which was headed over by Fletch Russell. With Bookham struggling to contain a fast passing Cranleigh Deon Mubaiwa had a snap shot cannon off the post. Deon was linking up nwell with the midfield and his pass put through Will to score 1-0.

Isaac Ginger Holt then set up a chance in the box for Deon which was saved by their keeper. Shortly after a Cranleigh freekick outside t6he box was turned home by Deon 2-0. With plenty of chances for Cranleigh we then managed to hit the same post twice in 10 seconds , firstly by Deon then by Isaac Holt.

Bookham were barely in the Cranleigh half and if they did cross the half way line the Cranleigh defence of Isaac Denton – Miller , Sullivan Howick and Fletcher Russell coped with the Bookham attacks very comfortably. Cranleigh kept pressing forward and a goal mouth scramble was prodded home by Deon 3-0 . A great run out wide by Will resulted in him hitting the post with Deon hitting the bar with the rebound. With the game drawing to a close Charlie Gibson collected the ball and drove et the defence before passing ton Deon 4-0.

So 4-0 to Cranleigh in the firs tgame also hitting the goal frame 5 times
