First game of the season was a nervous start having seen 3 players move up to better things and 2 debutants.

The team had a bright start with some great passing moves however some poor finishing was letting us down.

From a corner by Jack Rogers curling it in Isaac Holt (or ginger) almost got off the ground to head it in and put us 1-0 up.

We carried on with great passing and movement with Toby Davis managing to stay onside the only time all day stabbing home a 2nd.

William Aitken then lost the ball in  the opposition box only to battle hard and win it back to score our 3rd.

Sullivan Howick scored from 2 yards although I did think he woukd miss and he admitted with a smile so did he.

4-0 at half time. we decided to play around with positions and players seeing as the game was as good as won.

Second half was much the same with Cranleigh dominant.

Jack Rogers had great chances to score all game so was pleasedwhen he scuffed one between the keepers legs for the 5th.

A great solo run by Ethan Payne beating most of their team and a few of ours led to the 6th

Issac Denton – Miller had battled hard and seemed to have no luck in front off goal but finally nailed the 7th.

A great performance winning 7-0 away including hitting the woodwork 5 times and but for continual offside (one for training Thursday) and some over excitable finishing it could have been more.

Well done the team. Billingshurst away next.
