Cranleigh – Callum Cozens – Oscar Brown, Jack Miller (captain), Ollie Ferrier – Sam Vines, Ciaran Lynch, Jack Coleman, Jake Collins, Jonah Harewood – George Hughes, Finn Graham – Owen Bartlett, Jamie Kaffo, Dan Walmsley, Hayden Skerry.

Another home game and in good playing conditions although Cranleigh made a slow start which allowed their opponents to have more of the ball than we would have liked, but without making any clear cut chances.  Slowly the team shape improved and which resulted in a great individual goal from Finn Graham, who beat a number of players before cutting in from the left  before driving home a fierce left foot shot from inside the box  At half time Ollie Ferrier, who was struggling with a back injury, was replaced by Jamie Kaffo, and not long after the break a great team move was finished off by Sam Vines with a  great burst of pace beating the defence and finishing past the goal keeper into the far corner.

Further substitutions followed with Owen Bartlett replacing the injured Oscar Brown followed by Dan Walmsley coming on to replace Jake Collins resulting in a slight change of shape followed by Hayden Skerry as a like for like replacement for Finn Graham.  Notwithstanding the changes Cranleigh continued to dominate the game and if it was not for a number of outstanding saves from the Chessington & Hook United goalkeeper the score could have been higher.

All in all a great performance and a well deserved win for the team’.
